Wait, did Justin Bieber really just get a face tattoo?

Justin Bieber is no stranger to getting inked, but he might have just crossed over to getting facial tattoo. 

After Bieber, 22, posted a photo showing a tiny black mark next to his right eye, fans were quick to assume that the teeny-tiny mark was permanent. Celebrity tattoo artist Jonboy also shared a photo of Bieber sporting the new ink – along with a curiously red and swollen cheek, perhaps due to the fresh tattoo. 


Bieber did not directly address his new ink in his Saturday Instagram post, instead writing, "Resting up for the show in Philly it's gonna be a good one mark my words."


In February, Bieber told GQ that he would consider getting a face tattoo – but only when he's older. 

"Maybe when I'm really old, not super old, but maybe, like, 40s or 50s or something," he said. "One above my eyebrow or something small. 

"I think if they're done right, they could be cool, but nothing super crazy all over the face." he added.
