Mother and daughter remanded in prison for allegedly stealing car and sowing it as a seed offering

A 44-year old housewife, Mary Onu, and her daughter, Alice, have been charged to court after they stole a Nissan Infiniti SUV car belonging to a car dealer and sowed it as a seed offering to their church prophet.

P.M Express explained that Mary, a member of the Celestial Church of  Christ in Idimu, went to her prophet, Solomon Orimisan, to appreciate him for his prayers over her family.

She was said to have told him that she wanted to sow a seed offering with the car, whose market worth was over N2 million, for N500, ooo.

It was reported that Mary drove the car to the church with the owner, who is a car dealer and introduced him as her driver.

After the transaction between Mary and her prophet had ended, she left the church without the knowledge of the car dealer.

It was after the prophet saw the car dealer still hanging around the church that he informed him that he could leave as he had paid Mary for the car.

The matter was reported to the police when the car owner explained what transpired between him and Mary before the vehicle was brought to the church.

When Mary and her daughter who signed the agreement was apprehended, she confessed to the crime but claimed she had already spent the money to solve her personal problem.

The mother and daughter have been remanded in prison until they meet their bail condition of N200,000, before they face trial.
