"Love is dead": The internet freaks out after Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's divorce news

Another one bites the dust.

The world of romance was thrust into utter turmoil on Tuesday morning, when Angelina Jolie filed for divorce from husband Brad Pitt.


With the news of yet another power couple dethroned — "This decision was made for the health of the family," according to a statement from Robert Offer, Jolie Pitt's entertainment attorney — the internet rightfully mourned the death of love.


Just when we were starting to get over the death of Pitt's long-term relationship with Jennifer Aniston, the world throws this at us and we're now just expected to accept the end of the love story that started in 2004 when Pitt and Jolie filming Mr. and Mrs. Smith.
