It looks like Diddy celebrated being the world's highest paid celebrity by getting a huge back tattoo.
The new ink, which portrays a black Madonna holding baby Jesus with huge crowns on their head and angels on both sides, is definitely a work of art. Positioned right under his Basquiat-inspired "King of Kings" crown tattoo on his neck, the new piece covers his entire back down to his waistline.
Diddy seemingly posted the inspiration for his tattoo on social media just three days earlier. According to reports, the tattoo looks to be a copy of "the oldest known Ethiopian painting of the Mother and Child or Theotokos which dates back to the 15th Century." "I got the front And She got my BACK," the "I'll Be Missing You" rapper captioned the photo before shouting out his tattoo artist Nikko Hurtado.
Fans, however, were divided over the tattoo, with many questioning if it was even real. "Oh no... This is weird. Tell me it's Photoshop," one follower wrote. Another chimed in, commenting, "You stupid for this one."
Diddy doesn't seem too concerned about the haters. The fashion designer recently topped the Forbes list of the world's highest-earning celebrities of 2017, taking home $130 million and beating Beyoncé and Drake for the top spot.
