Usain Bolt makes history winning third straight gold medal at Rio Olympics

Congratulations are in order for Usain Bolt after he won his third straight gold medal at the 2016 Rio Summer Olympics!

The 29-year-old runner picked up the gold in the 200m race on Thursday night (August 18) in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Usain finished the race in 19.78 seconds and now he is the third athlete in Olympic history to win two individual events at three separate Olympics. The other two are swimmer Michael Phelps and track and field athlete Ray Ewry.

There is still one more opportunity for Usain to win gold. He will run the 4x100m final on Friday night!
