Updates on Babcock university graduate who was allegedly kidnapped by her friends

Babcock University graduate Justina Anochie was allegedly kidnapped with the assistance of her friends.

The Babcock University graduate, Justina Anochie, in a twisted plot planned by her friends, was reportedly kidnapped by her friends who wanted to collect ransom money from her family.

According to reports from Punch, the Ogun State Police Command arrested a University of Lagos undergraduate who was reportedly been linked to the kidnap to help with the police with investigations.

Anochie’s sister Judith Nze, said the kidnappers demanded N10 million and later asked for N5 million and refused the family’s offer of N300,000. They threatened to kill Justina if their demands are not met.

A police source confirming the case said that Justina was kidnapped with the help of  her friends who believed that her parents are wealthy and they could make money from them.

According to the Ogun State Police Public Relations Officer, Olumuyiwa Adejobi, Justina Anochie has now been released unhurt and without any ransom paid.

She was found at Odogbolu, Ogun State. He added that forensic investigation and ICT skills adopted by the police, compelled the kidnappers to free her.
