Ray Rice and wife Janay expecting baby #2 since elevator scandal

Former NFL player, Ray Rice, and his wife, Janay, are about to expand their family! Just two years after Ray knocked his then fiancée unconscious in an elevator, Janay and Ray are ready to welcome baby #2 into their lives 


Ray Rice, 29, and his wife Janay, 28, could not have looked happier together in their Instagram announcement pics. The couple already have a daughter Rayven,4, who is about to become a big sis!

“The Rice’s. Yup we will now be a family of 4! #21weeks #therices #wonderwhatitis #blessed,” Janay captioned her super adorable announcement pic featuring her and Ray all dressed up for date night. The stylish mom looked completely fabulous in a figure-flaunting green dress.


For  those of you who need a refresher, in February 2014, Ray reportedly knocked Janay unconscious in Atlantic City, New Jersey and then proceeded to drag her from an elevator. Ray was ultimately arrested and then indicted for third-degree aggravated assault. But as it turned out, Janay married Ray just a month later in March. The heart wants what it wants, right?


“They patched up that situation long ago and he apologized for it. He told her he’d never do such an unthinkable thing again.” And so far, so good as there have been no more violent incidents between Ray or Janay.
