Woman's rare medical condition sees her hand grow to the size of a football

Afroza Begum was born with the deformity - and now lives in constant pain due to blisters.

She said: "I've had this ever since birth, I was born with the condition.

"It was small but eventually it started growing. Now the blisters grow on my hand and they itch badly - but it never hurts."

The right hand swelled up so rapidly, she couldn't afford treatment .

Now Afroza, from Bangladesh, has been referred to a plastic surgeon - but desperately needs help paying for treatment.

Despite the condition, she still manages to complete everyday tasks with just one hand including cleaning and sweeping.

"I want to get treatment but it is beyond my capacity," she said.

"The blisters are only growing bigger and now they bother me."
