Japanese parents have been tweeting photos of their babies' chubby arms next to bread rolls. In a curious craze that is sweeping Twitter and Instagram, mums and dads are snapping pictures of their children's arms alongside sticks of "pull-apart bread", a popular brioche-style snack from Japanese supermarkets.
It all started after one user, named Koni (@sn15papa), posted a photo with the caption:
"Which is bread and which is the arm? I can't tell."
"I created a tag and hope everyone else will take a look at it," Am I the only one who feels that this will become the greatest tag? tweeted the proud parent, Koni. "
Clearly, many people agreed. The hashtag launched hundreds of snaps featuring plump baby arms lined up alongside little lumps of dough.
