See William, Kate and Harry hitch a ride in the royal Queen-mobile

Queen Elizabeth wasn't the only royal to drive in style at her epic outdoor 90th birthday party on Sunday. For the first time, the monarch was joined by Prince William, Princess Kate and Prince Harry in a stunning procession of open-top cars down the Mall.

Wearing an eye-catching cherry-colored ensemble, the Queen led the convoy down the road leading from Buckingham Palace during the Patron's Lunch.

And the royal trio was all smiles as they followed closely behind as a crowd well-wishers cheered on.

While the monarch rode her Queen-mobile (the State Review Vehicle) alongside husbandPrince Philip, the younger royals traveled in an older vehicle the Queen has previously used. It was brought "out of retirement" for the occasion, a royal source says.
The open-top hybrid-powered Range Rover the Queen rode in was first seen in Cardiff last year when she inspected a Welsh infantry regiment, and then was on show again in Windsor on her birthday in April.
Land Rover provided the Queen's first official vehicle in 1953 and she has since used four different ones.

"The Queen has been using vehicles like this since the early years of her reign, especially the Commonwealth tours and the visits to Australia in the 60s, It enables her to see, and be seen."
