The first child of Late Afrobeat music Legend, Fela Kuti, Yeni, got a surprise marriage proposal from her longtime partner of 5 years, Theo Lawson, at the Prince of Anthony Hotels which coincidentally is the same place her late dad historically married 27 wives in one day.
According to the Netng, the surprise birthday party was put together by Mallam Abdul Okwechime and Akin Adeoya which saw an impromptu performance from Yeni’s younger brother Femi Kuti .
There was an emotional outburst from Yeni, who walked into a hall full of family and friends waiting to sing ‘Happy Birthday’ to her.
Yeni was once married to Late veteran broadcaster, Femi Segun and their union was blessed with a daughter, Rolari.
