Beauty blogger releases incredible before and after styling to prove how unrealistic social media is

 A hair colourist has received tens of thousands of shares after posting photos of her natural self versus her glammed up alter ego.

Ursula Goff, of Wellington, US, posted the two selfies on her Facebook page, one with unstyled hair and a bare face and another taken just a few days later with perfect waves and flawless make-up.

The beauty blogger hopes to prove that perfect images on social media are unrealistic by demonstrating how a few simple changes, such as make-up and lighting, can make a dramatic difference. Read her post below
