64-year-old woman jumps to her death off 6th floor of a hotel in SA

A 64-year-old woman jumped off the sixth floor of a hotel in Umhlanga, north of Durban, South Africa, on Wednesday morning, December 9. (Photo of her body being recovered by the South African Police above). Police spokesperson said the woman plunged to her death at around 09:00.

"Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident. An inquest docket has been opened for investigation at Duban North SAPS," said Zwane.

It is not yet confirmed if the woman was a guest at the tourist hotel.
