Ogun state govt ordered all markets and schools to be shut down in honor of late Chief HID Awolowo.

The Ogun state government has oredered that all markets and schools in the Remo district of the state to be closed on Wednesday November 25th as the state buries late Chief HID Awolowo, wife of late sage, Obafemi Awolowo, The state government's directive is contained in a statement signed in Abeokuta on Monday by the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Taiwo Adeoluwa. The statement said the directive would affect only schools within Ikenne, Remo North and Sagamu Local Government Areas.
